Balancing Strength and Aesthetics
When restoring posterior teeth, clinicians must balance the need for high mechanical strength with the patient’s aesthetic expectations. The posterior region is subjected to significant occlusal forces, making material selection a critical decision. Miracle Dental Lab offers a range of high-performance materials, manufactured in-house, to meet the demands of posterior restorations.

Monolithic Zirconia: The Standard for Strength
For patients with heavy occlusal loads or signs of bruxism, monolithic zirconia is often the material of choice. Its exceptional flexural strength makes it highly resistant to fracture. Furthermore, advancements in zirconia formulations have improved its translucency, allowing for acceptable aesthetics even in the premolar region. Our in-house milling ensures precise marginal fit and proper occlusal anatomy.
Lithium Disilicate for Enhanced Aesthetics
When aesthetics are a primary concern, particularly in the premolar area, lithium disilicate (e.max) offers an excellent alternative. While not as strong as zirconia, it provides superior translucency and a more natural appearance. It is also highly bondable, making it ideal for minimally invasive preparations. Whether you choose zirconia or lithium disilicate, our ~2 week turnaround and Australia-wide delivery ensure your restorations arrive when you need them.
